Seitz (ASN: 331535266), United States Army, for heroism not involving actual conflict with an enemy of the United States while serving with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2d Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, in action in Belgium, on 26 December 1944. The exemplary courage and heroism displayed by Private Seitz reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Army.
