(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 2, 1926, takes pleasure in presenting the Soldier’s Medal to Private First Class Robert P. Lent, United States Army, for heroism not involving actual conflict with an enemy of the United States while serving with Battery A, 41st Field Artillery Battalion, 3d Infantry Division, in action Bizertte, Tunisia, on 5 July 1943. The exemplary courage and heroism displayed by Private First Class Lent reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Army.
