Nolan Sklute was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program in 1962 upon graduation from Union College, New York. From 1993 to 1996 he serves as the 11th Judge Advocate General of the United States Air Force. He retired in 1996 as a U.S. Air Force Major General.
