Navy Federal Credit Union

After serving as an enlisted man in the Army Air Forces in World War II. After the war he returned to college, graduating with a master of divinity degree from Western Theological Seminary of the Reformed Church in Holland, Michigan in 1950. In 1951 he was recalled to active military service as a Chaplain. He retired in 1976 as a U.S. Air Force Brigadier General.
