(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Brigadier General Theodore Carl Almquist, United States Air Force, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States, culminating as Assistant Surgeon General for Dental Services, Office of the Surgeon General, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Bolling Air Force Base, D.C.; and as Commander of the 89th Medical Group, Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland; with additional responsibility as TRICARE lead agency for DOD Region 1, from 1995 to 1998. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of General Almquist culminate a long and distinguished career in the service of his country and his dedicated contributions reflect the highest credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
