(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Rear Admiral William Llewelyn Morrison, United States Coast Guard, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Chief Counsel of the U.S. Coast Guard from 1 January 1969 to February 1972. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of Rear Admiral Morrison and his dedicated contributions reflect the highest credit upon himself and the United States Coast Guard.
