Devasier (NSN: 3470895), United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (Posthumously) for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving as aircrewman in Patrol Bombing Squadron ONE HUNDRED SIX (VPB-106) over the Ryukyu Islands, Bandjermasin, Honshu, Shikoku coast, Japan, from 15 April to 15 May 1945.
