(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Lieutenant Dale Eugene Moritz (NSN: 0-301509), United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving with Attack Squadron NINE HUNDRED TWENTY-THREE (VA-923), embarked in U.S.S. BON HOMME RICHARD (CV-31), in action against enemy aggressor forces in Korea on 21 September 1951.
