Over his 33-year career, Robert Lloyd attended more than a dozen specialized training courses, and graduated from the U.S. Army’s Sergeants Major Academy and Coast Guard’s Senior Petty Officer Leadership and Management School. From 1990 to 1994 he served as the SIXTH Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard. He retired from the Coast Guard in 1994.
