(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Commander Thomas S. Cameron, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Commander of a convoy of thirteen LCI (L)’s and escorts in Task Force ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-SIX, in the invasion of Northern France in June 1944.
