(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Aviation Radioman Third Class Jesse Leroy Middleton, United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (Posthumously) for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as Aircrewman in Patrol Bombing Squadron ONE HUNDRED NINETEEN (VPB-119), in the Pacific area, from 4 to 19 April 1945.
