(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Aviation Radioman First Class Garr Lynn Rose, United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (Posthumously) for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as aircrewman in a Patrol Bomber of Patrol Bombing Squadron ONE HUNDRED NINETEEN (VPB-119), in the forward Pacific area, from 7 March 1945 to 15 May 1945.
