Fife, United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as Pilot of a Diver bomber in Bombing Squadron TEN (VB-10), embarked in U.S.S. ENTERPRISE in the vicinity of the Marianas, from 12 to 15 June 1944.
