(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Captain Marion Eppley, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Operations and Security Officer, NOB, Newport, Rhode Island, and later Chief of Staff, Narragansett Group, Eastern Sea Frontier, from 7 December 1941 to July 1944.
