(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Captain Clarence H. Schildhauer, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Officer-in-Charge, NATS Section and as Coordinator, Project JRM in the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations from the outbreak of hostilities in 1941 to 15 August 1945.
