Krusen, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Chief of Ships Section, Head of Production Group and Deputy Director of Scheduling and Reporting Division of the Office of Procurement and Material, and later Requirements Review Division of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy, 14 September 1943 to 31 August 1945.
