(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Captain (CEC) Robert H. Meade, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Officer-in-Charge of construction regiments in the Western Alaska sector and later as Officer-in-Charge of a Naval construction brigade during World War II.
