Raymond (NSN: 8006954), United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (Posthumously) for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as Photographer in a Dive Bomber in Bombing Squadron SIXTEEN (VB-16), during operations against the Japanese Empire from 10 July 1945 to 15 August 1945.
