Dodsworth (NSN: 7048578), United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (Posthumously) for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as aircrewman in Patrol Bombing Squadron ONE HUNDRED FOUR (VPB-104) over the Pacific from 27 February to 15 May 1945.
