(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Lieutenant, Junior Grade Eldon R. Boose, United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism and extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight on 1 November 1965, as wingman of a section of propeller-driven aircraft during an air rescue mission within the enemy island territories of North Vietnam.
