(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Rear Admiral (CEC) Norman J. Drustrup, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States while serving as Commander, Atlantic Division, Facilities Engineering Command, from May 1964 through December 1966, for his part in the development and adaptation of modern management methods and techniques to meet the requirements of expanded facilities and maintenance and utilities operations, and for his diplomatic negotiations with the Icelandic Government.
