(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Captain Robert W. Clark, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit with Combat “V” for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Commander Amphibious Squadron ONE, while deployed as a unit of the U.S. SEVENTH Fleet Amphibious Force from December 1964 to May 1965, for his work in connection with the first extensive river delta operations carried out by SEVENTH Fleet amphibious forces.
