(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Lieutenant Commander Dewitt H. Moody, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States from 25 January to 12 April 1966, as Commander Task Group 65.3, with additional duty on the Staff, Commander Task Force 65, in connection with operations involving the search for and recovery of a nuclear weapon and aircraft wreckage from the Mediterranean Sea.
