(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Rear Admiral Morris A. Hirsch, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Assistant Comptroller, Director of Budget and Reports, Office of the Comptroller of the Navy, from June 1960 to July 1963; and as Deputy Comptroller of the Navy from August 1963 to December 1965, for his contributions to the operating efficiency of the Navy Department and to the mission accomplishment of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps.
