(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Rear Admiral Emery A. Grantham, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Fleet Maintenance Officer on the staff of Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Fleet, from 7 May 1962 to 7 September 1965, for his work in the augmentation of support facilities, increased overhaul capabilities and a significant increase in the effectiveness of communications in Fleet communications stations.
