Jackson, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit with Combat “V” for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States while serving as a Medical Officer (Dentistry) with the FIRST Marine Division in Korea, from 25 January to 1 November 1952.
