(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Lieutenant Edward Patrick Cummings (NSN: 0-495892), United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (Posthumously) for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving with Composite Squadron THIRTY-THREE (VC-33), embarked in U.S.S. BON HOMME RICHARD (CV-31), in action against enemy aggressor forces in Korea on 11 July 1952.
