The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, 20 July 1942, takes pleasure in presenting the Legion of Merit to Master Sergeant Aaron S. Calvert, United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States over a 25 year career in the United States Army, culminating in May 2009. His dedication to duty and exemplary performance contributed significantly to the Intelligence Community’s mission accomplishment during the extremely high TEMPO environment over the last ten years. He mentored and served countless Soldiers well, always leading, training, caring and enforcing high standards. He always provided an excellent example for Soldiers to follow. His professionalism and dedication to duty epitomize the finest qualities of a Noncommissioned Officer and are in keeping with the highest traditions of military service.
