Colonel Heath effected numerous improvements on armored vehicles at the Test and Engineering Section, Armored Force Board, Fort Knox, Kentucky. Among other important items, he was directly responsible for the adoption of water-protected ammunition racks which are now installed in all our armored vehicles. His practical knowledge, engineering abilities and untiring devotion to duty have inspired all who worked with him.
