The President of the United States of America, in the name of Congress, takes pleasure in presenting the Medal of Honor to Sergeant Rowdy, United States Army, for bravery in action with Apache Indians on 7 March 1890, while serving with Company A, Indian Scouts, in action at Arizona Territory.
