Through Vice Admiral Schneider’s intense interest in people as individuals, and his dedicated and inspirational leadership, communication and understanding were significantly improved, and numerous morale enhancing programs were instituted. His superb performance of duty was in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service.
