Michael Davison graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Class of 1939. He retired in 1975 as a U.S. Army General. His father, Paul R. Davison, also earned a Silver Star in World War II, and his son Michael S. DavisonJr., earned a Silver Star in Vietnam and also retired as a U.S. Army General.
