(This award supersedes the awards to Colonel Creasy of the Legion of Merit, as published in General Orders 162, Headquarters United States Forces, China Theater, 28 September 1945, for service from their1 to 31 May 1945, as amended by General Orders 24, Headquarters United States Forces, China Theater, 29 January 1946, to read “Legion of Merit (first Oak Leaf Cluster),” the Army Commendation Ribbon, for service from 28 March to 7 April 1946, and the Army Commendation Ribbon (first Oak Leaf Cluster), for service from 3 to 20 April 1946.
