The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, 20 July 1942, takes pleasure in presenting the Legion of Merit to Colonel (Signal Corps) Edmund T. Bullock, United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States from September 1950 to December 1959. [This award supersedes so much of General Orders No. 35, Headquarters United States Army Electronic Proving Ground, dated 31 May 1957, as pertains to the previous award of the Commendation Ribbon with Metal Pendant (First Oak Leaf Cluster) to Colonel Bullock for meritorious service during the period 3 September 1956 to 1 June 1957.]
