Aio, Jr. (AFSN: FV-3035202), United States Air Force, was awarded the Silver Star for gallantry in action as a member of the 20th Tactical Air Support Squadron, while serving with friendly foreign forces engaged in armed conflict against an opposing armed force in Southeast Asia on 1 July 1967.
