The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 9, 1918, takes pleasure in presenting the Silver Star to Captain (Medical Corps) David Krapin (ASN: 0-1689891), United States Army, for gallantry in action against an armed enemy while serving as a Medical Officer with the 90th Infantry Division, in France, on 20 and 21 August 1944.
