Private First Class Thomas Lowell Tucker, United States Army, was captured by the Mujahideen Shura Council during an attack on a roadside checkpoint manned by himself and two other soldiers of the 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), on 16 June 2006, in Youssifiyah, Iraq. He was held as a Prisoner of War until his subsequent execution while still in captivity on or about 19 June 2006.
